Unfortunately, cellulite is one of those ailments that terrifies women, especially with the arrival of summer and with the fit of the swimsuit behind the doors. We are in May and therefore there is still time to intervene on this skin imperfection. What kind of treatment can we use? A treatment considered very effective in these cases are saline bandages.
What are saline dressings?
Pink salt bandages are used to reactivate skin microcirculation, fighting fluid retention, eliminating toxins and revitalizing the skin. They have an immediate draining effect on excess fluids, for a visible loss of centimeters. They improve tissue elasticity and skin hydration. The bandages are made using strips of light and elastic cotton fabric that can be soaked in active ingredients, mostly a saline solution that, by osmosis, acts on the stagnation of liquids, calling them to the surface.
Saline dressings have no contraindications of any kind. They can all be tried and can be done every 10 days, perhaps combined with an infrared treatment.
The importance of contact thermographic analysis
To combat cellulite, however, it is important to analyze the starting situation: for this reason we recommend that you go to an aesthetic, medical or nutritional center equipped with contact thermography , a special technology capable of showing the real state of cellulite, allowing it to be classified in one of its stages: edematous, fibrous, sclerotic.
The thermographic analysis is based on the use of special liquid crystal thermographic plates that must be placed on the area to be examined: it does not present any type of contraindication, so it can be repeated several times, on any type of skin: after a few seconds , a high resolution color image will be displayed showing the situation of the underlying tissues.
This technology can also be used to analyze localized adiposity, allowing us to follow the progress of the treatments that we will undergo.
Contact thermography is also excellent from a preventive point of view , since it allows detecting the presence of cellulite even when it is not yet visible to the naked eye or detectable by palpation.
